Goniopora lost a polyp

I've had this green encrusting Goniopora and I just noticed that it lost one of its polyps completely, you can see the skeleton. It also had this brown skin over where the polyp should be. I cleaned it off but I didn't know if it was doing that itself to heal or not. Also when all the polyps retract from time to time I can see a brown worm on it, is this bad or good?

I've read about these having some brown jelly disease.

Should I take it out and give it a Revive coral bath, I did not do it when I first got it.

I kept a green goni for 16 months. When polyps retracted I too could see a thin brown worm as well. I never removed it and it didn't seem to do any damage. But the green goni died like most do. In my case it declined quickly as I went to a low nutrient tank, changed flow patterns etc. to deal with a bryopsis issue. I always wondered if I had left things alone wether I could have been one of the few who could keep it alive long term, as it absolutely thrived until the change.

I'm having good luck with ORA gonis so far but time will tell. Good luck with yours.

Its not a flat worm.

It all started when I changed my powerheads around and messed with the flow to compensate for other corals I brought in. I didn't know there were any ORA gonis, if this doesnt make it, I'll try a red ORA goni.
