Goniopora problem...help please?!

Ok....need some advice from the gurus on here. I have a red goni frag that I put in the tank just over a month ago. It has been doing great! Started with 6 little heads on it and is about 25 heads after a little over a month. Love this thing!
So...now the problem. Early this week, I did 3 days with lights off and covered to try to get a handle on some GHA that was taking over some rocks near the top of my tank when I didn't have much of a clean up crew in there. I had read about that, and figured it would help the clean up crew that is NOW in there get a handle on things.
Turned the lights back on 3 days ago, and everything came back to life...except the goni. That first evening it was partially open...but hasn't opened AT ALL in the last 2 days.
It's a mixed reef, some sps (stylophora and acropora look great with excellent polyp extension since lights back on), lps (frogspawn and trumpets look great) and mushrooms/ricordia (multiple) that all look good. Clam is open and looks great....only thing having issues is this poor goni.
Checked all levels yesterday evening - sg 1.025, temp 81, alk 8.4, calcium 400, mag 1200, nitrates 2, phos 0.4.
The only other change I've made is switching from another gfo to phosban in my reactor because the phos wouldn't ever get below 0.8-0.16. I used half the recommended amount because I didn't want to drop anything too quickly. After 4 days with the phosban it's now 0.04.
This is a 90 gallon reef (36x24) with MP40 and MP10 for flow and EVERYTHING was growing great until I did the lights out. Now...everything except this goni is doing great, and it's not open at all!
Any thoughts or advice? I've got saltwater mixing now for a water change later today...but not sure what I might be trying to fix with the water change at this point. TIA for the help!!

They can do this from time to time and unsure on the actual causes. I have a dozen gonis, and one I've had for two years decided to close to bare skeleton for almost two months. Huge and flourishing again for nothing I did. GL.
