Goniopora question

Few days ago I picked up a green goniopora, I placed it close to the top of the tank so it would get alot of light, I have 144 total watt of LED lighting.
Goniopora is doing well, I am just wondering if I should keep it on top or I should bring it down and place on the sand? I have a 90 gal so it 24" deep.
What is the best place for a goniopora and what kind of flow does it like?

I would begin with on the sandbed, and move it up if necessary.

Mine prefer slow to moderate flow in the middle of the tank. I saw some receding when it was placed too high in the tank and Im working with 2 150 leds...

Mine likes in the middle bottom. It likes enough flow to pull it out but not enough to keep it swaying too hard. I keep it on the sand because I didn't want to burn them with my Mazzara P-Series LEDs. It seems to be doing fine.
