Goniporia wont open

I have green goniporia that was initially doing well in my nano reef, but has not been opening fully since I did my last 2.5 gallon water change. I made sure to have the SG closely matched, just as I always do, but this time it is not opening as fully and is actually shrinking. I did the water change last Friday. I noted on Monday that the coral wasn't opening as fully. A quick investigation led to find that the heater had been unplugged. The temp was 75 degrees, but temp fluctuatins at night are a certian possibility. I have since plugged the heater back in, that was two days ago, but the coral does not seem to be recovering. What can I do?

Try to return the tank back to its initial parameters and maintain stability as much as possible.

Offer it something to eat and see if it produces a feeding response.

Good luck, these guys are tricky :)

Giving it some food should bring it back out; especially if it has been more than a week since it has been fed. They adjust pretty easily to salinity changes, but definitely try to maintain consistent water parameters.

btw. what kind of lighting are you using over your nanO?
