Good Brittle Star or Bad Brittle Star

Found this guy creepin around the reef today. Pics are not very good, but it is Black with Gray stripes

Looks like your run of the mill micro brittle star .. unless the scale is hard to tell and it is really like 12" wide.

I think he's on your team.

When you feed look for hundreds more arms sticking out of the rocks trying to grab food as it floats by.

he's a little guy; about 1 1/2" tip to tip.

this reef has been setup a little over 2 years now and this is the first brittle I've seen. I'll release him to the general population again.

Have hundreds of those in both of my tanks, he's a good guy, eats leftover food and moves thru the rock to keep them clean out. In fact I'm bringing a few to the swap today
