Good idea or not?

I was talking with a friend about clown grow-out aggression,,, until recently he bred Premnas in the UK.

I don't have any big aggression problems with my Ocellaris, but there's always a bit here and there.

Anyway,,, he recommended adding a single, older clown when I move the juveniles to the grow-out system at 1 month old,, he says he always used a clown from 2 hatches previous,, so the big clown would be roughly a month older than it's tankmates.

I tried this 2 weeks ago and it's worked-out wonderfully,,,, there is zero aggression and there is only one large ball of fish around the bigger animal,,, instead of four or five balls of fish like I see with my other batches. They seem to LOVE the big fish and follow him everywhere. So far there doesn't seem to be any fighting over who gets to be 2nd in the pecking order,, and the large fish seems to be nonplussed by the whole thing.

Is there a down-side to this I haven't considered?

Does anyone else do this?

Juck, I have no experience but it looked great to me ! How many young clowns are you keeping with the bigger fish ?
Anderson.

There are 128 of the 1 month-old (ok,, now 6 weeks old) juveniles along with the big one that is 10 weeks old. They are in a 20 gallon long tank.
