Good local shops, travelling...

Trying to find some info on some good local shops in the Cleveland area. I'm from WV and one of the local reefers from the CVRC. I'm mainly looking for some good corals/frags and will be here til Tuesday. So where's the best coral? Thanks for your help...

Great thanks! But, is there one that you could suggest over another? I'm going to be a bit pressed for time (family weekend) and may not have time to visit all of them (if I could I would).... thanks for your help...

If there was only ONE shop to visit while you are here it would have to be Salty Critter. He is in the middle of doubling the size of the store so some things are in a bit of a disarray. The prices on dry goods are among the best you'll find in Ohio and the coral selection is great. The coral prices are obviously more than you will pay for from a hobbyist but he has a store to run and bills to pay. They are still in line with most stores and a bit cheaper than others.

If you get to see Salty Critter and are still in the mood to look around then I would suggest heading to Aquatic Technology and maybe Tropical Aquarium.

Salty Critter was good to me.. thx guys....I picked up several chalices, some ORA frags I had been missing, a red and nuclear Blasto a few more frags including a red, purple and green tricolor and some screaming zoo's. It was well worth the trip over to the store from where I am staying. I even got to run over to another place on the way back that was also pretty good. Nothing we have in our area even compares to what I've seen here. 33longs with hundreds of acans or chalices or acro frags, gorgonians 3 feet long, favias and favites the size of grapefruits going for 50 bucks and healthy.... that Salty Critter place is like a laboratory - so clean it was spotless... really a beautiful shop. I will be going back. rave rave rave
