Good method for removing anemone from live rock?

I have a pink tipped condi that I would like to take in to the LFS but don't want to give up the big piece of live rock he is on. What should I do?

try using a small ziplock bag of someting cold/frozen and lightly touch it to the base. Just dab the base that touches the rock in a sweeping motion. It should detach from the rock.

I just saw a LFS do this when I just bought a BTA and it work very well-the anemone is doing fine in my tank.
