The company paid for my plane ride there and back and use of a rental car for the day with there gas. When I left it was cold and rainy. When I got there the beautyfull palm tree's where swaying in the cool breeze, 85 degrees, there was the hot cars and the hot girls, and there was sunshine on my face. I watched the sunset on the ocean before I left. When I came back it was cold and dark, yuk.

The fish and corals were cheaper there. I didn't know where to go so I got a Tatoo on my right arm while I was wasting time.

Florida is beautiful (we used to live in Sarasota), but be prepared for high prices! We pay about $1200/yr for taxes on our house here, there is was around $5000/yr. Also, insurance is around 5-6 times as expensive, if you can even get it. They only sell it during certain times of the year. (ie-not during hurricane season.) It cost over $1000 just to get plates for our 2 cars. (they figure liscensing price by the weight of your car)

Nope a Pt cruiser convertable.
Think about what it would cost if you owned a SUV! Also, if you buy a car within 6 months of moving there, you have to pay sales tax on it again to get it in the state. All i'm saying is be prepared!

Yup, but no income tax. And they don't charge extra for the nice weather all year round!

No state income tax, still have federal...that's the biggy! Can't complain about the weather tho!

The state might charge you for bring Steve once they see/meet him. In fact they might charge the both of you extra just for allowing the two of you into the state.
