We have a separate 20 gallon quarantine tank and tonight after the lights were off on the tank and in the room we came in and turned on the room lights. Climbing up the glass is what we would describe as a typical garden slug that we see here in PA. I looked at some pictures of sea slugs and this just doesn't look like any of them. We have a lot of caulerpa that we originally pulled from our main tank refugium (the refugium has live mud - purchased & macro algae that we received from other reefers), two mangroves and some live rocks also from the main tank refugium. Whatever this animal is, it can move quickly and was again in hiding before we could even think of taking a picture.
Without a picture does anyone have any idea what this is and whether it is good or bad? The only fish we have in the quarantine tank right now is a blue-green chromis that wasn't thriving in the main tank (is doing well now).
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
