Good sized clams nearby?

Anyone know of any stores in the Parkersburg or Charleston area that regularly stock 5"+ clams? I'm looking for crocea, maxima, and possibly squamosa or derasa. Soooooo essentially, everything but gigas. =P

I'd rather not pay shipping from an online store. Prices must be reasonable.

Or if anyone is selling some clams, I'd be happy to buy them.

Thanks,

Fuji had some last time I was at his shop. They get them from time to time at Barry's place too. Before you come down I'd call and see what they had.

Hey BTW how is the sea horse tank going and have any hatchlings yet?

My dwarves didn't last too long. I think the supplier was bad. Communication was sketchy, just got a bad vibe from him. They all died for no apparent reasons. But yes, I did have some births. I didn't manage to get any to adulthood.

I really need to update my "Current Tanks" section. I recently got 4 cuttlefish hatchlings. I'll post a new thread with some pictures in a moment before I forget :P

I'll call Fuji and Barry next time I'm going to be heading down there and see what they have. Thanks for the info.

How goes the clownfish breeding? I've always wanted to try, but it seems extremely expensive and time consuming. Not sure I could commit to that, especially with college around the corner.

Well lets just say on the clown fish breeding I'm willing and have everything in place and ready but the fish seem to have decided they are no longer in the mood.

Time to dim the lights, bust out a bottle of red wine, and play some romantic music. ;)

What are you feeding them? I've never bred clowns before, so this may be something you've already done, but I've seen a lot of people making their own food out of fresh seafood blended together. *shrug* Might be worth a shot if you aren't doing this already.

Good luck!

Only thing the little buggers will eat is Spectrum and brine shrimp. I tried to feed them the seafood blend and wouldn't eat it. Won't touch flakes either.
