As we say goodbye to 2018, the TBRC is already planning for 2019. For those who joined us last night for our Christmas Party, thank you! W
We are planning our bi-monthly meetings and our first 2019 meeting will be Feb. 9th. Roger and Melissa Hebert will be our gracious hosts. That event will be created here after the NY Holiday. We have the months of March, August, October and December open for hosting. For those who open their homes to our meeting, we offer a host raffle each year where we put only the hosts in a drawing and give away a reef related prize to them. The value is a minimum of $200(ideas are welcome & the 2018 host drawing is at the Feb meeting).
It's also time to join or renew your membership with the TBRC. We have several member benefits including borrowing club equipment like our parmeter, mojano wand and even our 100 gal tub. Our sponsors also offer discounts during some of their sales or events to paid TBRC members. Membership is $20 for single and $30 for family and details are under the post here called "How to join the TBRC". We offer a $10 gift card to our sponsors upon your paid membership. You need to come to a meeting to get your gift card. Our meetings also have a member only raffle for a $50 gift card to one our sponsors. You earn your membership fee back very quickly and we are happy to pass along those benefits to our paid members.
