gorgonia dead tip?

I took a pic to help describe its issue. Its like the tip is slowly dying and peeling back. It was fine just a couple days ago, but now its slowly crapping the bed.

Whats the best thing to do? Leave it or clip it? Or is there nothing I can do and its done for?

Also, if anyone could help give a proper ID on this piece that would be great! :beer:

Yup, Photosynthetic Gorgonians can eat food. IMO, if it keeps on loosing tissue, clip off the dieing part.
