How can you tell the difference between photosynthetic and non-photosynthetic gorgonia? Thanks !

If the polyps are really colorful or bright white its non photosynthetic. Photosynthetic gorgs tend to have brownish polyps.

I've had a blueberry gorg which is non-photosynthetic and it was difficult to keep. From what I know it likes high flow and needs to be spot feed cyclo and or baby brine daily. Non-photo's are waaay more beautiful IMO.
