Got a mantis shrimp ?

I found a lime green mantis in one of the reef tanks . I almost had him and he got away. My question for the pros is not if but when is this guy going to be a problem its about 1.5in to 2in in size. Only fish are 2 clowns and and the worlds largest royal gramma there was a swiss guard haven't seen him a few week but he hides any ways.

Dont know about the rock have not added any in over a year . I think he came on some corals

If the rock is Florida rock then the mantis is probably a N. wennerae. You said it was green but does it have a white meral spot? They are smashers and only get about 3 inches long max. So what does this mean? It probably won't go after the moving fish but might hit the swiss guard if it is hiding in the rock somewhere.
So what are you going to do with it? Hum?

No FL lr .. I only had about 30sec to try and get him did not get to see a spot or any thing did look like a thumper tho.. and after posting i saw the swiss guard... Now if i get him dont know what ill do with it. I think Pandarian is into them. I might have to order a bigger trigger to eat it .. the ones in the store dont have enough butt to eat it

I enjoy my mantis in my little 8g at school, hes fun to watch and I'm sure I could find someone who would take it off your hands.
