Karen got my the Reef Keeper Lite for Christmas and I got it hooked up this afternoon. Had a small problem initially (the head unit seemed to think I had maxed out on the number of modules hooked up) but a factory reset got me back in business. Did the basic setup and currently have my heater hooked up to it. It's nice to see my temperature at all times with the probe.
I am planning on getting some dosing pumps for calcium and alk, and eventually a second power module for the RKL. That should give me enough outlets to run heaters, lights, dosing pumps, and half of my powerheads. I'm planning on keeping my autofeeder timer and my ATO, but if I were to add a third power unit I could power everything and then move the ATO and feeder timer to another tank.
Anyway, it's really cool, and the $100 version would make an EXCELLENT light and heater controller by itself. Might even just move my lights over and then get the second module when I get the dosing pumps.
Hope you all had a great Christmas, we did!
