Got an extra Apex ?!

So the ethernet port went out on my Apex and I have to ship it off to get fixed. They were nice enough offer to let me purchase a "back up" Apex while they fix mine, which is under warranty. Quoted me a turnaround time of like 2 weeks to get mine shipped in, fixed, and back to me. Wondering if anyone has had a similar experience or can help. My other option is to raid Home Depot for every power strip and timer they sell to try and make things tick....
