Got my Lights!!!!! Part 2

OK. So I know the subject line was already used but MY new lights got here today!!!

I got the 48" 6x54w Nova Extreme Pro.

Now I'm really antsy to get this place sold and start setting the new system up.

Anyone know where I can find a nice stand for the 75??

I was looking into those lights, do the 48" just have 6 36" bulbs? In the TPP catalog they list the wattage as being the same? Just curious. I am probably going with a 36" tank and getting the 36" fixture. With TPP's 30% off, you can get a pretty good deal. Btw I'm breaking down the 110g hopefully today, so the 30g is all yours.

No, 48" bulbs are the 54W each, which makes this six 4' bulbs..

Yup the 36" bulbs are 39w.

I would post pics but I don't think you'd get the full appreciation for the light sitting on my living room floor.

So then they are the 36" 39w bulbs, just in a 48" fixture. Weird how they did that? I wonder why, regardless its a nice fixture! Hopefully you can set it up soon and let me know how it is!

Sorry, think I made that confusing. The bulbs are 48" 54w. If they were 36" bulbs they would be 39w.

Getting an invalid user name error message when trying to PM. Is he on RC still?

In the TPP catalog, they list the 6 bulb nova pro having 39w bulbs, which would be 36". It must be a misprint. I am glad it comes with the actual 48" bulbs. Can't wait to see it up and running.
