RC search just broke. Anybody got a link to dendro info? The one's that look kinda like sun coral. TIA.

Duncans are easy just give them good light and watch them grow. One of the hardiest corals I have ever had. I feed mine twice a week and they can put up to a new head per week off!

Dendro's must be fed in order to do well, they can be kept in most places in the tank. Un like Tubastrea aka sun coral they are open most of the time. They grow very fast with good feedings of mysis!

God I LOVE LPS corals!!

thank you sir. i got mine home today and they opened up - happy. fed them, now they've been closed since. sure they will be back out soon.

the armor of gods look great too!

low/med. flow and light and yes feed mysis. preferebly PE MYSIS. Most of the frozen foods on the market have little nutritonal value IMO, the PE has like 64% protien VS 5% in most other frozen foods.

Protien is great for fishes, but IIRC it's not that high on corlas needs. How's the fatty acid profile look for mysids?

I will have to check that Gresham! All I know is my tangs look 10 times healthier since feeding the PE. And what I like best is the lack of moisture in the PE brand. It has none where as most other brands are 92% mositure aka Phosphates ;)

Scentific names are

Duncanopsammia axifuga
Dendrophylliidae- few different species
