got2envy's 40g long Carribean/Macroalgae Tank

I decided out of the contest since I was way over budget and the macros looked like they needed some room to grow so...

Here is my 40g long 48L x 13W x 16H
48" Coralife PC fixture 4x 65w power compacts 2x 6700ºK/10000ºK and 2x 420/460nm...all I need for some macro growing powah!
1x Koralia 1
1x Koralia 2
1x DF&S HOB with surface skimmer
200w Jager heater
11lbs live rock
10lbs dry rock

Day before yesterday...waiting for H20 to heat up overnight...got some cool dry rock too

There were so many small living things in the 10g that most of my work was making sure no one was left behind..."Squishy" My uncommon Maroon Anemone (Actinia bermudensis) I got from yardboy's jetties nano, stuck to my finger and did not want to get off lol I finally put him on this small piece of rock with a unknown hitch hiker I got from NR member Bird.

The Vibex snails are like what now...

how did you get your rics to get so big and have any of them split yet or you just bought them all? How big is the anemone going to get?

I dunno about the ricordias..I feed live phyto every other day, maybe that helped them along...they have def split...I would be broke buying that many lol
I asked yardboy the same question about the nem...hopefully he will let me know soon.
I want to get a nice Caribbean flower nem too

Oh snap! I didn't notice that...that and I asked a mod to correct the spelling in my title to Caribbean instead of Carribean, I was a hurry and didn't spell check..oh well

the rics were on the sand I now moved them to a rock...lets see if they split faster :beer:

My star coral has a mojano... :mellow: they are cute tho...till they go buck wild.

It was raining like crazy today! so I haven't gone to get the rest of the NSW to top her off

actinics only...make my other ricordia look dull by comparison...

aaaand this mixed rock.
I counted 8 zoa & paly morphs, a trumpet coral and a large clove polyp that is closed in the pic

I just read a long arse thread that the pink yumas sometimes do not make the 2 week mark and lighting could be the culprit in them melting away...so I moved both to a shady spot even tho I have them under PC's lol
better safe than sorry!

"Squishy" is on the macro now..Squishy 2 is M.I.A. somewhere in the tank

fern caulerpa is purdy and a fast grower!

The middle of tank

The right side...it is the dark side :lol: this where the Fu and Royal gramma share a cave lol

My K2 has now picked up random pieces of macro...It also has very hard to get LE GHA

the K1 with blue scrolling macro...growing. It loves alot of light to get the blue color.
