GrandLotus's 29G Sumpless Reef!

:wavehand: to everyone here on Reef Central. First post.
EQ: 2x 425 gph powerheads / Remora C skimmer / AC 110 / jagr heater / coralife 30 inch 4x t5ho lights /
Bio : 5 inch DSB / 30ish lbs LR
livestock: 2x clowns / 1x skunk cleaner shrimp / 1x peppermint shrimp

took some tests today and my readings are:
NO3 - 10-20ish (seems very high) - suggestions?
Ca - 500ish
Phosphate - 0.0ppm
Alk - 125.3 ppm

I will update with some pictures. Camera is currently charging.

How long was the tank cycle? Was there anymore testing done/parameters like ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, temp................cured rock or dry? Much more info is needed, and pictures always help

The tank has been up for five months. I only tested these four parameters because I do not have test kits for the others. I used API. phosphate was at 0.0ppm. cured live rock. temp is kept around 76-78.
Thanks.

Just moved this lobo to a new spot and it seems like the flow is two heavy for her.

Great start on your tank and congrats for your first post! I honestly believe the best way to learn is through experiencing. Keep us updated.

Pictures look like that things are doing well. What do you have running in the ac110?

Forgot to mention that I am running a TLF 150 phosban reactor with gfo. I will update that on equipment list.

Will do! I have some monti digitatas and a hammer comming on Tuesday.

Great start, hammers are awesome, great tank. I love my aqua c remora. You should get great use out of it.

Good news, the lobo is looking much better in the new location. The candy canes have not been releasing sweeper tentacles but has been eating. the CC looks very skeleton like today. I added chemi pure to the tank to try and get rid of this hairy brown algae bloom. I'm probably going to also go with lights out for a day or two. Ill keep this updated.

I will be adding more picture on Tuesday because the new corals will be coming in on that day! :)
