Great Barrier Reef sharks gone

Dude, I hope you're not stressing over all the ocean threads that you've been starting. Most folks in this hobby are more "eco-sensitive" than most and we are aware of the damage to our environments, and tend to be more careful in our daily living. It's kind of like "preaching to the choir". Let me buy you a drink.

Or...you could take the Bush/Cheney approach to global science and say its an "opportunity for greater recreational access to the previously 'shark-infested waters".

Similar to their concept of the polar ice-caps melting to "allow for greater access to vast the mineral resources of the previously inaccesable arctic regions"

Its all a matter of attitude..you see.

Polar ice cap melting...It seems to me that last winter, whenever winter is at either poles, supplies had to be air dropped in due to the transport ships getting frozen in due to the colder than normal temperatures. Research it!!!

Yea.. I hear Bush/Cheney are writing some new policy about killing the worlds kittens... *yawn*

Soooo back to "reefcentral" stuff, I picked up a 75g RR from HotReefer... can't wait to upgrade :D

p.s. sucks about the sharks.

Mike, I'm slowly gathering the necessary equipment now. Learned alot about planning ;-) I have the tank, my wife already has a stand in mind that will match our furniture. So I'm looking for lights and skimmer now.

So far I'm looking at a few different skimmers, Euro, H&S, etc.

Lights I've decided on T5's. Leaning towards the Tek 8x54w, however I heard Coralife is coming out with an 8way with individual reflectors. So I might wait a bit.

Wife purchased me 5 different zoo's from coralfanics :D She RULEZ! They are delivering today :D
