great bay aquarium sale..

Neat, wish I was closer or else I'd check them out.

BTW haven't they been going out of business for a while now?? :) That or they were one of those places that regularly used craigslist as free advertising.

yeah, good to meet you too psionicdragon.. everything else is in and looking cool, but putting my cleaner goby in the tank it went straight down and into an anemone and got eaten!

i tried to get it out but the anemone wrapped around already, the goby lasted a whole 2 seconds in my tank, sucks..

Dude, that totally sucks.

I bought 6 max, 2 flames, 3 fire , 1 acan frag, and zoos.

I stopped by Atlantis and bought a weird bristletooth tang :)

yeah, too bad about the goby.. i kind of found it kinda funny too after i got over realizing that was the fastest money spent and lost in a while in my tanks.

yeah, psionic, i was thinking of getting a flame angel too, but worried about them being reef/clam safe.. i've heard its kinda a crap shoot.

just got home and checked, i guess my smaller maxima dropped in the sand last nite, put it back up, now its totally gone! nothing left in the shell, just some clear mucous left. dunno what happened.. i have a crocea clam that has been doing fine in my tank for over a month..

the other maxima, right next to it on a low rock near the sand bed is doing fine, looks pretty opened up, clam mantle extending past the rim of clam shell.

yours still not opening up fully? what do they look like?

well, I paid $18 for a sleeper goby last week and he disappeared after one night. I've had troubles in the past with benthic fish, assumed it was a nasty crab of some sort but I haven't tried anything in 3 years. Well whatever it is got a good meal of a 5" sleeper a couple weeks ago. I hope he enjoyed it. It isn't 2 seconds but almost as annoying.

Aw, sorry to hear that otter.

My maximas are opening up, which is nice. One attached to a rock, which is bad.

Don't worry, I lost a fish too :(.
