Great Local Intelligence

Over the years of enjoying this hobby I have absorbed a lot of incredible information that I personally never thought I would have learned with out the help of many local fellow hobbiest.

I admit, I "geek out" and subscribe to certain YouTube channels that showcase the MACNA presentations which I would have never been able to see due to my lack of physical attendance. What is impressive to me personally is when you begin to realize you actually understand what is being said. You develop an appreciation finding/meeting others with a higher level of understanding of the hobby than yourself with a sincere non ego attitude willing to share that knowledge with others.

We truly do have a number of quality local community knowledge leaders on certain topics of discussions.

I know at times people can be timid to speak up in fear of local trolls to bash their opinions, but I would like to personally say thank you to those willing to be involved in local thread topics of discussion for my sake and the sake of others.

I have learned a lot just by lurking discussions.

In summary, we have some good local hidden talent.

Construction, School Bus Driver, Mail Man by day. Fish/Coral lord by night.

Very well said. I agree 100%.

I can honestly say that 90% or more of what I know and have been able to test, confirm or fail at in my time in this great hobby, I have learned here.

I am grateful for any and all of those who have offered a suggestion or idea in my times in need.

Every day, I do my best to repay their kindness, when I offer to assist anyone with a question that I may have brought up myself a few years back when I was starting in this hobby or the last time I did something stupid and needed help digging myself out.

Cheers to all!
