Great, my GSM female died... Now what?

Do I replace her with a large GSM that is most likely a female? Man, this sucks.

man that sucks i would just go find a big one maybe from a lfs that has a couple in a tank already so u might be able to tell that way

No - I would not get a big one - it's your male's turn to become female. Take your time and just get one much smaller than your male. That is your best chance of developing another pair! If you want more info - let me know.

I second what kimsie said - the male has probably already started the change. Give him, or soon to be her, a couple of weeks and buy the smallest GSM you can find and start over

Out of curiosity, how long have you had the pair. I've had mine for about 8 years

I bought them from a friend who had had it for a long time. Not sure how long. They were a fully grown pair.
