Thought I'd share a few shots taken from my buddy's reef tank. Makes me want to buy one and get into the hobby real bad now.

Yes its oversharpened... I had to make it really pop at you.:eek1:

swweetness NikonGuy.. Thanks for the photos! Your friend has some beautiful colonies.:eek1: And your pictures are most enjoyable. and those polyps are palythoa i believe.

I highly recommend that you follow that tendency you are describing towards getting into the hobby! With a fellow reefer as your friend already, you will be at a great advantage. Not to mention all the macro subjects you can maintain in your own reef.

Thanks for sharing!

Again NikonGuy, some beeeeeeutiful shots! Keep'em coming! It seems you are coming down with what the rest of us here already have...don't fight it...in the end the reef always wins...

And if you get into the hobby, you can do it cheap! Just make your friend frag his corals and give them to you :)

Thanks for the replies. I am enjoying the reef tank quite a bit. Unfortunately, work will be calling soon and I'll be off to indonesia and india for some urban and field shots. I have another day or two here so maybe I'll post something later when I get a chance. Again, thank you and I do plan on getting a fish tank now once I find an opportunity to sit for a few months.
