I have a 55g reef running for almost three years. It contains SPS/LPS, 70# live rock, 3" live sand bed. Five fish, Mystery wrasse, Pacific candy hog, Blue streak cleaner as old as the tank ( eats like a pig), a red head elegant pseudochromis, and a Geometric pygmy hawk and numerous inverts. Lighting is a Current Sunpod 2x150w DE MH 14k on a seven hour photoperiod, Remora Pro with Mag 3, and two Seio 620's for circulation.
Temp 78, ph 8.1, alk 8-9, ca 420, Nitr 0, Amm 0, Nitrite 0, S.G 1.023-.25
What first interested me to this hobby was the symbiotic relationship between a clownfish and its anemone. I've kept bubble tips before with success (growth/reproduction) in an older system before changing to the current tank. However, I'm starting to get the bug again. I would like to know based on fellow hobbyist experience if they ever kept haddoni in a reef system? Would they settle and stay to the sand bed? I really dont want to find the anemone on a walkabout stinging my corals. I know this is probably inevitable, but is the "walking" behavior found less in this species? Any info. or help greatly appreciated. Thanks. Mile.
