green leather only opens at night now

4 or so months ago i bought a nice green finger leather. it has always opened up really nicely but for the past month, its been only opening during the night. as soon as the lights come on it closes up. it only opens for about 2 hours a day at most(before lights go out), but remaims open all night long. this is really strange. i have a 24g with 96w of pc. i had a coralife quad bulb in there for 6 months, and just a few weeks ago replaced it with a sunpaq. my params - ammonia,nitrite,nitrate all 0, sg is 1.026, calcium is 460, my alk was pretty low, under 7 dkh. i just started dose b-ionic 2.5ml every night. i used to only does it whenever i felt like it. anyone know whats going on?

my leathers did the same thing when i changed out my PC bulbs but in a week everything was normal again. i think they are just getting used to the intensity of the new bulbs

actually i noticed today that the bottom section of the base is brown and wrinkly?

it is very close tosome zoos and blastos, could this be effecting it/

here is what it looks like during the day, its been like this for over 1 month, it was fully open for about 3 months before this, so i have no idea whats going on.
