Green Open Brain

Yesterday I bought a green open brain. I was under the impression that once the daylights went off in the tank, the brain releases sweepers, and that's when they eat. I kept checking the tank all night, but i never saw this happen. I was going to try to feed it a piece of brine shrimp...but never got the chance. Does anyone have experience with brains? How do you feed them?

Let it adjust before introducing food.When he's hungry you will know.

Give it some more time still adjusting, they don't need to be fed a lot, they'll eat anything once they like their environment.

I guess I got A LITTLE too anxious hahaha. My lights go off at 12 am...I ended up setting my alarm for 1:15, 2:00....and finally 3:00 hahhahaa.....I think everyone in this hobby can relate lol...we're like kids on Christmas morning

Ive been reefing for almost 9 yrs now,& im still the same way when i get something new.
