About a year ago i got a small frag and it fell behind the rockwork. And about 3 months ago i was doing things in the tank and found it laying in the sand. So i pulled it out to the light and now it has been sitting ther doing nother ever sincem, it hasnt opened or anything . I have a 40 gallon tank with one 250 watt metal halide. Everything else is doing great and growing.

More info on placement. Its about 14 inches from surface and it is about an inch from a zoa colony

sure its still alive? I have one, pretty sure the same thing I just picked up open before the lights come on and stays open for about an hour after lights go out..my tank is in front of 3 windows to use the natural sunlight to offset my elec bill.

Well i found another one a couple days ago and it melted away, this one is just sitting ther, im sure its still alive

If its still alive and not melting away, its really ****ed off. Should fill in when its ready, which can take weeks if it wants.
