green polyp

HI i had buy a green polyp it was open for a week and then close! i dont have strong lights and i place it on rock on the front bottom of the tank . it broke on 3 peaces after a week and close up ! I am looking for any advice what to do ?

What are your test results for the water? Age of the tank? Any excessive algae growing in the system?

My water is good i am checking it every week all other corals i have are doing great ! i lost the green polyp i gues it just break on parts and this was the end of it!

Usually they close up, the mat will get brittle and then break apart in my experience too. Sorry for your loss
