green star grasse closed

i got a green star grass coral a while ago about a month and it always opens half way why is this i have tryed to move it a few times and i added medicine for my fish last week that is reef safe is this why my green star grass is closed up

Mine closes periodically but always reopens a day or two later, Reef safe or not it might not have liked the medicine.
