How much do you top off at a time? I do nto know why you would need to "buffer" your top off water. If you are make sure you are not spiking the ALK when you top off.
Chasing PH is often a losing game. It stabilises to the available ALK in the water and CO2 that diffuses into the water from the air.
I do more less a 32 oz dickey bbq cup morning and night.
I think I have some reading to do on PH.
My sea mat still has a few closed heads so I dipped again tonight and will see what is going.
I need to run some test been lazy tonight. My Zoas look outstanding.
Just added a shrimp yesterday as well.
