Green star polyp tips curling

My gsp tips are curling. Most pictures I see they are straight. Why are they doing this?

What did you change? Lighting? Flow? New coral? Tough to assess.

All of the above. I added lights to my DIY led build to bring out more color. Which is slowly working. Sawed the rock they were on in half about a month ago. And moved position to lower flow. Also added live rock and Duncan coral. Green slimer SPS. Pipe organ. Zoos. Birds nest. I redid my aquascape went to a frag swap and upgraded my lights in the past month. Everything else is loving everything I've done. Is the curling necessarily bad?

Also still growing fine. Filling in what is left on the rock.

Reading numerous posts about this on this forum and others it seems like they like really high flow so I would guess your problem is that you moved them to low flow. Most others seemed to have seen the curling stop once they put the GSP in higher flow again.

Try that and report back!

It is so notoriously resilient and inexpensive I would not worry a lot about it curling

No particular advice except to say what stands out to me is not the tips but the color. They are mostly purple with only some green, mine are totally green. What are your parameters?

I didn't have strong light until recently. Their color is coming in now.
