Green Star Polyps

Oh yeah I will be there;

The reason I missed the last two meetings were was very sick 2 meetings ago and was on darvocet and physically unable to make it and the last one was on the same day as my OKAA meeting which I held at my place.

So no excuse to miss this one even though I have to work today.

I have a question about the GSP's. My GSP's were doing just fine, and then all of the sudden, NOTHING! I mean they will not come out for the life of them... what should i do?!....yes, there are still bumps, but there is no sign of them comming out.

Thanks,
Dustin

Gerald, there is a Donor Program. There is a stickied thread on the top of this forum called Donar Program something or other. If you click it and scroll down to the bottom, that is the master list of donor corals as of Friday the 13th. I'll be adding on to that list later this week.

DTKing, occassionally this happens, and then they come out later and are fine. But always make sure that there isn't a reason why they are doing that. Check to make sure that there isn't any irrtants like crabs picking on them or clownfish hosting in them to cause them to close up. Also, double check for nudibranchs. It is pretty rare in the hobby to see the GSP eating kind, but they are out there. If you do find some, I know someone that needs them for research. Also, always make sure that your water parameters are okay. Check pH, Calcium, Alkalinity, and Magnesium. If the parameters are fine and you can't find something bothering them, give it time and they will most likely come back out.
