Green Torch

I have a torch that has been in my tank for a few days now. A few hours one head sucked all the way in. I thought that a hermit might of crawled on it because there was on the rock next to it but now both are halfway in. I did a water change earlier and all parameters are good (ph, ammonia, no2, no3). I don't have the tests for alk, cal, and mag yet. It's under a fluval sea 25w led in a 36g tannk. Is this normal behavior???

what are your water lvl. when you did water change was the water same temp as tank ? Did you feed your tank before they closed?

Can you check salinity?l 36 gallons is hard to keep stable but not impossible. Time to get other test kits . What are the actual readings not just good ? What kind of sump or skimmer? How often do you do water changes and how many gallons?

sal is 1.025 ph is 8.1, a is 0, no2 is 0, no3 is 5-10. I have a coralife hob skimmer. Water changes once a week at 5 gal

The lfs is out of them but I will pick one up next week when they come in!!! Would it just go to crap like that all of a sudden??? It looked great earlier today.

Some corals you should try before trying another torch could be mushroom , palys and zoos and maybe a brain coral like a maze or pineapple. Your tank may not have matured enough to sustain a torch or frogspawn or open brain.

They look great again today!!! My working theory is when I did the water change yesterday I poured the water into the tank too close to it.
