Green water

I have a quick questions, can DT's Phyto be used to start cultures of green water.

long answer kinda but only sometimes, and you wont know what your growing ....

Thanks, its been a while since I made green water and wasn't sure. Is it because DT's is mutli algae.
I had a few bottles in the fridge but it looks like they are too old. I am going to rasie clowns again
But did get any nanno from florida aqua farms. Thansk again.

for clowns - just have a steady culture of rotifers. The rotifers do not need to consume live phyto - you can just give them a ready-made product. There are several on the market today that will work. I personally use Rotifer Diet.
