I have a red sea reefer 250 with a bicolor angel, longnose hawkfish, green wrasse, and yasha goby/tiger pistol pair inside.
The shrimp goby was the most recent addition, about a week ago, as a replacement for the pinkbar goby that had been paired with my shrimp before passing away during hurricane Irma. Since adding the Yasha, my green wrasse (who used to be in a different tank of mine with a yellow watchman/pistol pair and who lived peacefully prior to Irma with the pinkbar goby/pistol pair for a long time) has been chasing the goby back into his hole when he comes out.
How should I deal with this sudden aggression from the wrasse? Will he eventually leave the goby alone? Would temporary separation in a breeder box cure his aggression? Does he need to get transferred back to the other tank? He leaves everything else in the tank alone but seems to have found a target with the addition of the replacement goby.
Thanks!
