Have you guys been checking out his site? He has a ton of beautiful pictures. He amazes us with reef-related stuff all the time, but his nature shots are great. Heck, they could be postcards.

WOW!!! Greg, those are some amazing shots! Absolutely stunning!!!! I have to agree with melev about that last one but my absolute favorite of the three is the second one.

Now if you'll excuse me......I think I'll just go bury my gear now :D

No, you've got it all wrong. You need to upgrade your equipment, take some lessons, and move somewhere picturesque. ;)

And then do the same for me, of course.

LOL. I have one of Greg;s pictures as a fairly large print that I bought couple of years back from him. Worth every penny... :)

lol... you guys are too cool. Thanks very much for the appreciation :)
I wish I lived somewhere photogenic like those pics... but I try to go somewhere at least a couple times a year- usually in the spring and the fall. And guess what it's gonna be in about 5 weeks? Fall! I leave for Montana and Alberta at the end of September and I can hardly wait :D

ps- Marc- the page with the framed links are the ones I did after looking at your site. Not nearly as good as your site but it's a work in progress...

I'm still redoing those pages, but hopefully I can get them to work as desired soon.

I agree, great shots Greg! I've got a question though, were those Mountain lion shots taken in a zoo? I know they're extremely reclusive in the wild.

Whereabouts in Alberta are you going to be travelling to? The Rockies?

Thanks Molino-- nope, not a zoo- they were taken in southwest Utah. I've seen cougars in Montana and eastern Utah too (Bitterroots and Uintahs) but I know what you mean about them being hard to find. A couple winters ago I went to Yellowstone and we found lots of cougar tracks but no cougars.
I'm headed up to Banff and Jasper- that time of year is hunting season so the national parks are the best best for wildlife. I found a monstrous bull elk just outside of Banff last year and I'm hoping he'll still be in the same area this year:

What are you guys talking about? The photos on that website are absolutely terrible! :D :D

Nice photos Greg, but then I never doubted you :)

That is a very impressive Elk Greg, and a great shot to boot!

I'll be heading out to Canmore (just outside of Banff) tomorrow and then down to Waterton Lakes National Park (southwest corner of Alberta). Banff and Jasper are beautiful, hope you enjoy your visit.

My wife and I love the porkypine eating the flowers. Great shots gregr you need to make a calender if you havent already.

Thanks again all :D
Nelson- I was hoping someone would notice what a beauty that elk is- he's the biggest one I've ever seen.
Have a great time- I'm jealous :p I'd love to hear a report when you get back.
