Hi guys, planning a group buy at http://www.reefcleaners.org with a pickup in 60525 zip area.

They promise you a free "Express Mail" shipping option ($28) if you buy for $175 or more.

So far, I have only $33 in my shopping cart :-)

If you are interested in joining me, please post in this thread.

I am out of town next week, coming back on Monday, Feb 22nd. :bounce3:
The order will be placed after I get back, Monday evening or Tuesday.

No need to reach a shipping minimum, his packages are all price included in shipping and he lets you add items.

John, you are correct - they do offer free shipping on their cleaner packages.

But there is still a need to reach a shipping minimum if you do not want their cleaner packages. And I do not need nerites nor nassarious snails.
Also, the free shipping on packages is for Priority Mail only and my order requires Express Mail.

So I am still going with the group buy and look for people who can fill the shopping cart with goods to reach $175 minimum together.

Would you be interested in maybe looking at live aquaria ? I want a powder blue from them so that would be a $50 from me. If not maybe 20 bucks worth of cuc from reef cleaners

I may be interested, but I am probably only looking to spend about $20-30.

$20 is good, $30 even better :-)
We might find enough people to push us into the free shipping territory.

BTW - I just noticed their Express Mail cost has increasedsince I checked last week from $28 to $35! Now it is even more reason to go with a group buy.

I looked at liveaquaria.com - they have nice selection and I have purchased from them before, very happy - but today I need snails, and reefcleaners.org have better selection.

I will go to some north side LFS today, if I do not find anything we can pull the trigger on the group order if you are interested.

Even if we do not hit the $175 threshold to get free "Expedited" shipping and we will have to pay $35 it will be easier on our wallets if we split it 3-way :-)

What do you guys think?

Sorry guys, too busy recently - did not buy this stuff yet.
Are you still interested in participating? Anybody else wants to join?
