Grouping PAB devices

Hey guys,

Here is what I need to do.

Group 1
- Power Bar (PAB)
- Power Bar (PAB)
- Profilux Touch

Group 2
- Power Bar (PAB)
- VT controller

Can someone tell me the how to group these devices in the above groups?

Do I Assign the group then assign the devices?
Should all PAB devices be connected?

All pab devices should be connected together. Do you have two pab ports on your profilux?

Yes, I have two PAB ports.

I need one string (group) of units going one direction, while I need the other group going the opposite direction.

I know you can group PAB devices, I need to know how to properly group the devices together.

Go to your system tree. There you will see all your pab devices. From there you can select each one, and assign to a group.

Sorry missed the last part of your post. Assign them all to a group as you install them if you want. Or you can do it after they are assigned in the tree.

Can you give a little more detail?

I can see all devices when I go into the PAB menu.

I assign the first 3 devices under group 1
- Select group 1
- Assign three devices

I then assign the last 2 devices under group 2
- Select group 2
Assign two devices

Is this how you do it?
