Dear all,

mostly in NPS treads we can read: it is dying, no chance, no success... but I want to show you that some times there is a small ray of hope. That's why I want to show you the groth of my Cirripathes sp. I god this coral end of November 2008 from Jens Kallmeyer (he also writes in this forum) and he kept this one also longer time in his tank before.

You can see clearly how it grow within 3 weeks.

Best regards

That's a very gorgeous piece, Marcus. Thanks for sharing. :) Mind sharing what kind of food you prepare for it?

Hi, Marcus!
Can you share more "how to do it" information? And your observations about specific requirements of some corals, no matter if they are rare or not.
Thanks.

If you will be so kind, can you take a look at thread Blueberry gorgonian care. There is description of your tank and some questions. Would like to know your opinion and will appreciate the input.

That coral can eat mysis shrimp. One of the easiest non photo creatures imo. Really cool looking one too

Dear all,

some more information:

since mid of Februare the Cirripathes has reached the water surface! So the growth was very fast, nearly 3 cm per month.

Excellent growth! Glad to see update. So now will you try and fragment it? Or just let it decide how it wants to continue growing?

Marcus,

Where did you get your Cirripathes? I remember seeing them in a online shop but can't remember where (maybe ATS?)
