Growth or not???

I was wondering what growth on sps coral looks like. Recently I have been seeing white tips on the end of some of my frags. Is that growth? Here is one of my frags but now its whit at the tips. Seems to be doing very well still.

Ok cool. How fast do sps coral grow anyways? My calcium is at about 425 and my alkalinity is at 4meq/L.

depends on the coral I have some I see 1/2 inch every 2 weeks

Thanks for all the quick replies. Is a Monti digitata in general a slow grower? It was weird how I aquired it. I got it with some liverock rubble and as I was sorting through it I found this guy. He was dying but I mounted him on some liverock and seems to be doing well along with some of my other frags under my T5s.

Alright because now that it has settled in, it seems to be growing. I was always in wonder how aquarists actually mount their sps and orange caps on liverock. I used this putty stuff but its not the best. Seems to come off easy and doesn't hold really great to the liverock. Got any suggestions? Once again thanks.

I use loctite super glue gel works great and can be applied under water or out of water .

So this loctite super glue gel won't harm any of the tank inhabitants? Where do you buy this type of glue?

nope not unless they eat it and stick their mouth shut for a week .

I get mine at walmart in the isle with the spray paint and wood stain. 2.57 each

Thanks for the advice. From what you can see in the picture, does it look healthy? See I am not obviously experienced with sps corals. haha.
