Growth Patterns?

Hi All,

I picked up Fire Engine and Jason Fox Pink Violet monti frags at a swap. I'm trying to decide the best place to put these in my tank and wondered if anyone knows the typical growth pattern for these corals.

Are these a digitata or an encrusting Monti ?

Definitely not digitata. I was just hoping someone who had these could tell me if they are plating or vase-like or something else. I have discovered that my pink violet will plate, just not sure about the fire engine monti.
