GSP and Xenia Problems

My reef tank has soft, LPS, SPS in it but my GSP and xenia is having problems, everything else is doing great. Neither have been growing for months, now they are both starting to fade away. While all of this is happing I have SPS and LPS corals growing inches per month. My parems are all in line, ph 8.0 at night and 8.15 day, temps between 77-88.

Ideas?

Did you mean 77-78 degrees for temp?

I'm assuming so, as you are keeping LPS and SPS with out problems.

Both GSP and Xenia like a dirty tank, so adding Amino acids or feeding more may help. Adding Iodine may help as well for the Xenia, but GSP do not care for high levels, so be careful and don't over do it.

Whats your water flow like?

Flow is on the high side, about 55x an hour. Ive got both out of the flow as much as possible but they are still getting plenty of flow.

I had a problem with my xenia until i put a varied flow on mine. I have them on a wavemaker getting about 3 seconds of flow and then 3 seconds without any and they love it. Same for my GSP.

Both have varied flow with wavemaker and hydor flos. Im concerned the entire tank is crashing since Ive heard these are the first to show signs.
