GSP getting Fuzzy

I have been worried about this piece because I got it with a Xenia at same time from a bud. The Xenia melted away. I did not acclimate either. I learn from my lessons I guess, although I dont t know many that acclimate. I also had a sinualaria melt awasy on me a few weeks ago, dont quite get it. I also got a Digita frag at same time as this, and a lps frag smae time as Sin. that are doing fine.
OK I know Im paranoid but, it still not open, been 4 days no big deal. But whats this stuff?

This fuzzy white stuff appeared this morning. Looks fuzzy, not slimy, havent stabbed at it yet It doesnt blow off though.

Looks like some sort of bacterial infection, to be safe I would do a dip in an iodine-based treatment JMO.

Dont have any of that stuff. is it a simple as some tank water with a neavy does of iodine?

I use Seachem coral dip for new addictions but it can be used to treat infections.

OK dipped it last night. Today some of the stuff is still there. Do you dip these things every day until you see the bacteria go away. From what I am reading in my book it sounds like "white plague"

u need to be careful, u can do more harm than good

Any suggestions? I have dipped the thing 2x already, it keeps coming back
