GSP - hold the G

I have nice sized piece of GSP that I got in January as part of a trade. It looked great for over a month and the green polyps were fully extended after the light came on. It eventually stopped extending fully, so I figured it was time to move it to my nano, which is a slightly healthier tank than the one it was in (a holding tank.)

I put it in the nano, and it took probably about 2 weeks for all the polyps to extend. The problem now is that there's no more green, and polyps have much shorter extensions than before. I can see the white spots which are the middle of the polyps, but they are all purple - no green at all.

Anybody know what happened? Will the green come back? They were under 30W of actinic in a 10 gallon before. Now they are under 54W of 10k and actinic in a 6 gallon. Flow seems adequate - I can see the polyps waving in the breeze.

I bleached my GSP to all brown with a couple of high temp days and tank moves (PC to MH). After a while they turned the glowing green again. I think it did take a month or two but was neat to watch as it started with a couple of polyps getting green and then spreading out.

Cool. Something to look forward to. I was very happy to see allthe polyps come out after a couple weeks. I'll be even happier to see the green again. It completely covers the rock and looks like grass.

I'd have to say my GSP is looking better. It seems fuller and I can see a lot more of the bright white centers. No green yet, but I can be patient.
