GSP Spawned & maybe polluted?

Hey everyone, I've got a couple of (bad) pics of my GSP spawning last week. Only thing is, I think it polluted the tank. Shortly after the gamete release, some livestock started to decline (most corals were ok). I yanked all the snails, but it killed all the pods and bristleworms. I also lost a red open brain a day later. I noticed the brain caught and consumed some "eggs", but don't know if that was a factor. I'm not even positive the spawn was a factor, but *something* toxic entered the system. Anyway, I checked all params and they were ok. Did a couple of water changes and everything seems happy. Anyone had this problem before?
