I have a 29g tank... 35lbs of LR. My only coral is a piece of candy cane I got 2-3 weeks ago. I have 5 pieces of LR. The largest sits off to the left of the tank away from the others. It also has several small aiptasia bunches. The rock is... holey, and the base of the aiptasia seems to be far back in the rock where I cannot reach it. This has made it difficult to eliminate the aiptasia. I've tried the lemon juice injection but it was unsuccessful.
I'm wondering... if I get some GSP to grow on the rock... will it cover up the aiptasia? Or will the aiptasia keep it from growing on that area? I'd love to have that one rock covered in GSP, or another fast growing softie that can spread.... Just thought I could kill two birds with one stone so to speak...
Thoughts? Advice?
