Hi Guys:) So lat night I stayed up to watch some of the Mets celebration and figured 1:00 am would be a good time to shine the flashlight in my now dark and reamy tank. Man was I shocked!

In addition to tons of amphipods and the famous white specked copepods, I saw bristlewormsd, tube worms, feather dusters I didn't know I had - and two really interesting things that I don;t know what they are..... perhaps you can help.

One is a furry white thing that looks like a nudibronch. It stayed on the glass and went a whole lot faster than the snails. It was aboput 1.5 inches, maybe a hair more.

Then we began to nitice for the past week or two that someting in the tank has been placing pieces of shells, coral rubble and whatever over a shelf that faces up in my LR. It's a small shelf with a decent size hole in it. We had been talking about how or why sopmething would be moving those pieces up there. While I didn't get much of a view, I saw something with a golden metallic kind of body tending to the pile, but moments after the light hit him, he was gone.

Anyway, it was pretty neat to see the night life:)

It is Marshall Island LR from Les at Fishy, Inc.

Tonight I will try to get a picture of them............. wish me luck - I'll need it.

What kind of hitchhikers would build a cover to their tunnle? If it is a mantis shrimp, it would have to be a small one. Lord I hope it is not!
